I love these socks. I have four pairs now and wear them all day following long cycle rides.
I find that these socks do not make me too warm, they are cooler than other compression socks. They also provide great compression that has not given up over the 7 months that i have had them.
They wash up well and show no signs of wear. I did receive one pair with a hole in but that got replaced.
The only small downside is with the grey heal and toe box they have now on the white pair. I do not like that the grey heal shows above my shoes. The older white ones used to be all 100% white and thats the way I wished it had stayed.

I haven't tried this product, yet on Amazon and elsewhere it gets good reviews. I'd like to order, but the sizing chart does not correspond with the size chart at the point of checkout. According to the size chart, I would take a '11.5', but the sizes offered are 'sm, med, L, etc.' Without being able to chose the correct size, I'll have to pass on this product. Shame, because they do look like a good choice for compression.

I bought this tape last year, but haven't needed to use it until today. With all the rain we've been having in the northeast, I was checking the gutter downspouts and where one downspout dumped into the PVC ground drain pipe, there was water leaking through the PVC connection...a LOT of water. I didn't need THAT draining into the soil at my foundation, so I took the white Tommy Tape and in the pouring rain, wrapped around the PVC joint a few times and voila! No more leak! I will go out later and recheck it to see if it's still in place, but it appears to be stuck for good. :)

The nice part about this stuff is it's not sticky to touch, but it IS very sticky to itself. That's the only area to be careful with...try not to allow the tape to touch itself, until you have it in place, otherwise, it can be hard to separate. And remember to stretch it slightly when applying and wrap the very end onto itself for a permanent wrap.

Great product...I'm going to buy more and make sure there's some in my car for any roadside emergencies with hoses, etc.

Our kitchen faucet sprung several leaks along the side of the faucet due to our extream hard water. I sanded all the hard water deposits and wrapped the entire faucet stem with the tape. Waited 24 hours as the directions say and then turned the water back on and no more leaks. It has been at least a month now and still no sign of any leaks. We have a lot of preasure on that faucet.

had heard about this tape & was skeptical. Reviews on HSN ran mostly negative but I wanted to find out for myself. The Tape is wonderful!! By following the directions to the letter, I have had numerous occasions to repair a variety of items, including a leaking pip; the red color even repaired a Humming Bird Bottle, doing double duty!!
It's important to S T R E A C H the tape while wrapping and to remember that the tape sticks to itself, not the item being repaired.

I have owned many pairs of Mechanix gloves before and have been extremely satisfied with all except for this pair. Within two weeks of ware, both index fingers blew out. The stitching came apart and the material on the thumbs and finger tips began to ware and eventually I owned fingerless gloves. Really disappointed in these gloves and wish I still had my receipt so I could exchange them but I just coughed this up as a lesson learned. If you don't plan on doing any mechanical work, these gloves may work out good for you.

I treated myself to this gorgeous cutting board and was not disappointed. At 1 and 1/2 inches thick -- it's VERY hefty. I would not want anything thicker or heavier. It's also fully reversible. Solid, beautiful maple. Save a little money by purchasing some food grade mineral oil at your local CVS, to keep it sealed. I keep four felt circles under it to keep it slightly off the counter. It's the best cutting board on the market and will last generations if properly taken care of.

It's a large size that we need to keep out on our island because it's to big and heavy to store in our cabnits. My husband is happy and we bought the mystery oil as well to preserve the board. Again, if you don't mind a large board that may have to stay out it's perfect and a better price on here than on the John Boo's site.

This cover was bought as a Christmas gift for my husband to fit his recently purchased 15" Macbook Pro. Computer geek he is, he demands high quality of his gadgets and their peripherals. He was instantly happy to see that this case did indeed fit his computer like it was made for it. What a neat concept - a cover that actually fits the computer it's advertised to!

I wanted to really like this case - there is a lot to like about it: (1) it fits well, (2) is easy to get on and off, (3) protects the unibody from scratches, (4) makes the MacBook easier to grip, and (5) it looks very nice on the MacBook. But there are two negatives, the second of which impacted my rating the most.

First, the rubbery material that makes it easy to grip is also very easy to scratch. My case even came out of the box with a small scratch on it before it went on my MacBook. I can see how after just a few months this case may look pretty worn. But on the plus side, it certainly will remind you of all the scratches that never made it to your MacBook!

The second and biggest negative for me was it adds too much weight to the MacBook. Specifications says it weighs 1 pound, and to my surprise I felt every ounce of it! It may not seem like much, but a MacBook Pro weighs about 5.6 pounds, so this case increases the weight on your MacBook by 18%. I knew the specs before I got it, but it is amazing how much I feel the additional weight. Combined with the added thickness, it transformed a svelte laptop and made it "chunkier." It also made it harder to fit in laptop bags with padded compartments such as the laptop sleeve in a Timbuk2 case.

Since all I wanted was to protect my MacBook from scratches, the added bulk is not a compromise I was willing to settle for. I have opted to use a stick-on skin instead. The case simply did not meet my needs, but it is a very good case that can be a great fit for the right need especially if it is your primary protection such as carrying it around without a bag/sleeve or using in a travel bag with minimal or no padding.

I was completely happy when I received this product. Many people thought it was a custom purple mac. However, when I took off my case, I found scratches from the case on my $2000 macbook pro. I was displeased with the amount of grit and dust. I expected there to be dust, but this was disgusting. After very little use, the hinges chipped and the case was extremely hard and painful to get off. The case also prevents heat dissipation, which led to me having graphics issues with my mac. I know a lot people love the satin and the colors, but the price exceeds the quality. I'd say, do not spend $50 on this case, you should keep the aluminum look. That is what Steve Jobs would have wanted anyway.

They are best when they are fresh and not hard. I tend to buy them and they are hard which is a dissappointment. I remember in the early 1990's there was a green apple version of these that was very good or maybe it was another brand. I liked those the best. Never seen them since. Anyone remember those?

Have been using this for about half a year, mostly on long driving trips.
I typically only have a laptop and maybe a few phone chargers hooked up to it at a time,
but it's held up great and keeps them all powered.

The fan is a little loud, but only noticeable when it's completely quiet.
With road noise and music going, you can't even hear it.

A great buy so far!

Solidly built, well designed and I tested it with a volt meter and found it to produce 117 VAC (AC volts) on all three outlets. I did not test the 12VDC port or the USB port. The manual is well written and informative. The power cable is 4 feet long.

This unit produces a modified square wave to approximate a sine wave and product literature claims this is sufficient to power "most" laptops and electronic devices safely (some electronics are very sensitive to wave form). I will be using the PowerDrive to power a recently purchased Dell Vostro laptop. My expectation is that this advertised to run electronic devices safely so I'd be surprised if it didn't.

This smells great plus its very buttery and stays on a while. Plus its organic which is a huge plus! i usually use Carmex but hate the way it smells, but now i switched to this and my lips are great. They do not get chapped at all and its not addictive. My friend stole mine from me because she loved it too. The 6 pack is great because now i have one at work, in my purse, makeup bag, etc... I like this brand and would recommend to anyone looking for a great everyday chapstick.

I don't wear makeup and I haven't for almost ten years now. I don't like all the chemicals they put in that stuff so I've been attracted to more natural products. My lips tend to get chapped a lot (My own fault since I don't drink as much water as I should) and I've tried many different brands and types. I've even just used petroleum jelly but that feels too greasy. Berts Bees chapstick feels like I've dipped my lips in hot wax and let it cool on my face. It doesn't do much to take care of the dry skin. This chapstick feel silky soft and it really feels like I've got a soft layer of butter on my lips. I will never use another brand again!

I recently purchased after seeing it on sale at a nationwide retail chain. I had recently had my chap stick chewed up by a dog so I bought three flavors to replace it, Carrot, Melon and Berry. The Berry flavor is my favorite, followed by Melon and last Carrot, but I love the texture and healing the lip butter provides. I wish it had a little red tint to it, but clear makes it more functional. I prefer Yes to Carrots because it is organic, safe, and mostly tastes great. I look forward to trying the glosses!
